In early 2026, the Moose Jaw Community Bands acquired a collection of music scores and parts for concert band. This collection includes works ranging from the early 1900s to contemporary pieces.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the Saskatoon Concert Band for providing this collection, originally from the now-defunct Saskatoon Lions Band, to community bands in Saskatchewan.

We want to give a big thank you to Saskatoon Community Bands, Inc. for their wonderful donation of a huge collection of music to our library! We’re also really grateful for the ongoing support from other bands across the province. Together, we’re helping to make Moose Jaw a fantastic band city!

We appreciate the support from other music lovers in the community who have contributed to our bands' repertoire, allowing us to explore new and exciting sounds. We are honoured to be the caretakers of these valuable musical resources.

We recognize that this collection is an important asset for the concert band community. If your community band is interested in performing any pieces from our new collection, we would be delighted to share our resources with fellow bands in Saskatchewan.
